Hello! I’m 14f and I am looking for a good book to read that is mainly about the witch trails and witch craft accusations. Not necessarily something that is all about the witch trials but takes place when it was significant and in places where it happened a lot (ex: Europe or Salem, MA). I’m basically just looking for something that shows the struggles people went through during this time mainly because of the witch trials and accusations people were worried about getting because of the punishments they would get from doing “witchcraft”. I want something that can really show me what it was like to live during the time in Europe and America when this took place. If some romance could be included in the book(s) that would be a nice addition given that romance is my favorite genre, but if not I would still like the suggestion(s).
Genre: historical, romance (if possible)
Place: Europe, Salem MA, or anywhere that had witch trials or “witchcraft.”
(Please no fantasy or fairytale, I would like something thing that is realistic, but not non-fiction)
