Hi! I’m in a book club with a group of women and we are in our 30s-40s. We read a mixture of all genres but I’m currently looking for suggestions for a book that would be uplifting and heartwarming. Thanks in advance!
It’s literally about the magic of childhood. Beautifully written. It’s one of my favorite books (I’m 71, but read it for the first time at least 20 years ago).
I suggested this for my sister-in-law for her book club, and she said she really enjoyed it and it was great for discussion.

Katherine Heiny’s Early Morning Riser. Has it’s ups and downs, loveable bunch of characters, heartwarming and uplifting.

Throwback by Maurene Goo. It’s a coming of age story about mother-daughter relationships. I found it very sweet, relatable, and warm.
