I've seen many versions of King Arthur's tales for kids but my child was named after Tristan and a lot of the ones I've found use the Tristram spelling. I'd like to get him a good copy for his own that uses the Tristan spelling and hopefully has some good color pictures as well. Any recommendations?

might want to check out the dk eyewitness books version – they usually nail the visual stuff and i’m pretty sure they use the tristan spelling. there kid-friendly but detailed enough that he won’t outgrow it too fast, plus the illustrations are actually solid quality not just cartoon-y stuff.
The Roger Lancelyn Green books were great intros for me
