For the life of me, I can't find any story, or any post that asks for suggestions on a story, that was written in the XXI century, has a male lead and a femme fatale who actually loses in their conflict (not loses on the surface or partially loses). It seems like femme fatales always win for some reason. I feel like I need something fresh, with the protagonist not falling for tricks/seduction, and winning for once
