Looking for audio book recommendations. I mostly prefer fantasy, but am open to other genres. I most recently finished the cradle series. It was my first LitRPG and I really enjoyed it. Reminded me of isekai anime like solo leveling.
Right now I'm working on the Thursday murder club books. Not exactly my typical genre, but I'm enjoying it nonetheless.
Bonus points for long books or series with an omnibus/complete edition so my audible credit goes farther.
Below is my reading history with more details of what I enjoyed and didn't.

- Fourth wing: too much spice
- A court of thorns and roses: same, DNF
- Wheel of time: hard to pin down why exactly, but was left unsatisfied after finishing it.

Entire Riyria series is good, try its spin-off Legends of the First Empire. Also, Forge of Ash and Gold (Action Adventure Fantasy), Red Rising series (Sci-fi)
You’re looking for The First Law by Joe Abercrombie. Go ask fantasy redditors their favorite fantasy audiobook and prepare to be overwhelmed by people saying it’s Steven Pacey performing The First Law.
Lonesome Dove – the new narration with the forward by Taylor Sheridan
Mary Stewart’s Arthurian series – the first is “The Crystal Cave”
Jodi Taylor’s St Mary Chronicles – it’s a longish series best read in order. Lighter reading than the other two recommendations but well written and not at all formulaic
Emily Wilde series by Heather Fawcett
Scholomance series by Naomi Novik
Michelle Sagara West Chronicles of Elantra,
This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me Ilona Andrews
I hear Jeff Hayes does some good audiobooks…
