New reader here trying to get out of a reading slump and looking for recommendations!
I recently got back into reading and ended up really enjoying a few books across very different genres. I loved The Silent Patient for its psychological twists and suspense. Ready Player One was super fun with all the gaming and pop culture references. The Hunger Games hooked me with its fast-paced dystopian story, and Norwegian Wood hit me in a completely different way with its emotional and introspective vibe.
Now I’m kind of stuck on what to pick up next. I’m open to anything that’s gripping and hard to put down—whether it’s thrillers, sci-fi, dystopian, or even something more emotional and character-driven like Norwegian Wood. Ideally, I want books that are engaging enough to keep me turning pages without feeling like a chore.
If you’ve been in a similar slump and found something that got you back into reading, I’d love to hear it. Even better if it has a similar vibe to any of the books I mentioned.
Thanks in advance—really hoping to rebuild my reading habit with some great suggestions!
