I love Creature Features that involve animals like sharks (including especially Megalodon), snakes, insects, prehistoric creatures etc etc that have come to life after millions of years, been experimented on, just generally been hidden from the world until they come back again. I've read The Meg series by Steve Alten, and I am very fond of Michael Cole and his books, and Greig Beck's books as well. I am always in the need for more recommendations though, they don't have to be 'good' in the sense of amazing storyline or anything.
