Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has any good book recommendations that focus really on exploring the complexities of relationships and being. I find myself mostly interested in stories that are very grounded in reality and character driven. I've been reading a few classics recently so maybe something a little more modern to switch it up if possible haha.

It’s kinda sci fi i guess but not really the crumbs of sci fi are just an engine for the thematic depth it’s more literary/meditative/character study than anything
Also the lover by Marguerite duras
I’d recommend The Penny Falls by Mark Bastable.
