Hi guys, I‘m on a quest to find a action filled , fast- yet steady paced adventure fantasy book with a romantic subplot.
Things I enjoy: strong, multilayered, dimensional, female leads.
Strong friendships and complex relationship dynamics.
World building with lots of descriptive language.
Plot twists , keep me on my toes.

it can be part of a book series or stand alone.
the romance shouldn’t takeover the whole narrative, but should still be part and perhaps complicate the plot. I do cringe quite easily with a lot of romance books in recent times as most of the times their romance does not feel grounded or authentic, it’s often rushed and the process of falling in love in neglected.
I would appreciate some recommendations as it really takes me forever to choose which book I‘ll read next and recommendations from real people would really help, thank you all!!!
