I have a list of books – those that impacted me heavily or were just very fascinating or fun to read – that I will read again near the end of my life as a curtain call. These books added something significant to my life or made me very happy, and I'd love to experience those books again when I know that I have only 2-3 years left.

    My "The Epilogues" list:

    1. East Of Eden, John Steinbeck

    2. Demon Copperhead, Barbara Kingsolver

    3. Shuggie Bain, Douglas Stuart

    4. Harry Potter series, JK Rowling

    5. Murderbot Diaries, Martha Stewart

    6. 2001: A Space Odyssey, Arthur Clarke

    7. The First Fifteen Lives Of Harry August, Claire North

    8. Monk And Robot series, Becky Chambers

    9. The Dispossessed, Ursula K Le Guin

    10. Earthsea Series, Ursula K Le Guin

    11. Cosmos, Carl Sagan

    12. Entangled Life, Merlin Sheldrake

    13. Through Two Doors At Once, Anil Ananthaswamy

The list will likely grow, I'm in my mid 30s now. The plan is, if I can, in my 70s or 80s when I know the end is near, I'd love to read the ones on this list again, before the curtains close.
