My daughter, almost 7, loves reading true stories and expressed interest in learning the “history of right now around the world”. Any recommendations for books I could read aloud to her that will help satisfy this request?
I think an engaging fiction book would go over better than a biography or non-fiction at her current age, unless the latter is written more to her level.

The I Survived series is pretty entertaining. Fictionalized accounts of true events.
