I read Latte Darling by S.J. Tilly and I loved it. I loved the dynamic of a mature age gap where the MMC is financially stable and takes care of the FMC, but it happens organically rather than through a formal arrangement.
I am looking for a book where the FMC is around 30 and the MMC is 40-50. I'd like it if the MMC is financially stable. I don't want any college-aged dynamics.
I would prefer for the MMC to be all green flags.
Another book I liked was Soft and Low by Jamie Bennett. Although the ages were different and it was angstier. However I liked that he was ready to step up and be there for her financially and emotionally.
