I’ve noticed a lot of books either completely avoid sex or write it in a way that feels awkward, unrealistic, or straight up painful to read. It either sounds like a fantasy written by someone who has never talked to another human, or it just gets skipped like it doesn’t matter.
I’m looking for books where sex is written in a way that feels honest, messy, human, maybe even a little uncomfortable but real. Not necessarily explicit for the sake of it, just well done and believable.
Any recommendations that actually get this right?
