Just finished and I’d like to cue up a few books that will give me a similar feeling. I loved the expansive-yet-detailed prose, the quick narrative pacing, and the mesmerizing creepiness. But I could imagine a book with a similar effect that isn’t horror or crime— just, like, the intensity of the human condition. Y’know? Thanks in advance!
