I’m still patiently waiting for Alecto the Ninth to come out and want something that gives the same vibes as the series. It can be a space opera, it can be about necromancers, it can follow people who are in a deeply religious society/ cult. It doesn’t have to have every element of the Locked Tomb series but I want something with the same general vibes to read. Dark but with some humor, rich world building, race against time to accomplish something, large cast of memorable characters, possibly unreliable narrator, or a plot that drops you into the middle of a very complex world with no lore dump to hold your hand.
