Hi everyone! My sister and I want to read a fantasy book/series together and need some help finding something that suits both of our tastes. She loves the romantasy genre, think Fourth Wing, ACOTAR, etc. I don’t mind romantasy, but I definitely prefer fantasy with slightly more elevated or serious prose/storytelling, like ASOIAF or Priory of the Orange Tree. We are both relatively new readers of the fantasy genre. Could you help us find a happy medium between our two preferences? A series or book with a more complex prose/plot than your average romantasy and includes a romantic B or C plot? Thank you!!
