Hi guys! I hope all of your reading lists are overflowing.

I need some monsters. Or creatures.

What I'm NOT looking for is anything set in a fantasy world. I get on those kicks, but I'm not in the mood for it currently.

Just give me monsters and creatures set in the "real" world. Like somebody's just living their best life in South Carolina or something and BAM, next thing they know something ate the florist.

It can be horror meant to be taken seriously, it can be funny, I don't really care – I just want some monsters.

    Thanks much!

The Sworn Soldier series by T Kingfisher. The 1st one is definitely the best but the other 2 are decent too
