I love fantasy in film and video games but was never much of a reader past middle school. Recently I’ve gotten back into it, and I’d like to keep reading more this year but I’m definitely a book novice. I went to the library today and didn’t have enough time to read all of the summaries to find something I’d like.
I’m interested in fantasy but so far what’s been recommended to me by my bookish friends is a lot of romance and spicy stuff that I’m just not that into. Does anybody have good recommendations for a fantasy style book that is more adventure or conflict forward, and less romance??
