Hey! I've recently gotten back into reading after a couple years of barely reading anything, and I need some book suggestions. I'd prefer to stick to mainly YA for now, but I'm open to other categories as well. I like a pretty broad range of genres. For example, I LOVE the FNaF books, particularly the Fazbear Frights series, but I also love Wicked, and I'm currently 50% through Heartless by Marissa Meyer, and I've been really liking it so far. Basically, I just love things with a lot of lore and stuff. I also love books and stories that'll make you cry (Dear Evan Hansen). Any suggestions?

Try the Six of Crows duology – Leigh Bardugo builds incredible lore and the emotional gut punches hit hard
Dead man’s hand by James Butcher is a fun read.
Shadow and Bone series/six of crows.
Not quite YA as it deals with some dark and mature topics but “one dark window” by rachel gillig. Despite the history of the world being written in poems and riddles, its a surprisingly easy read. Tho some of the morals do hit hard.
