Queer horror/romance seems to be a popular book subgenre of late (toxic yuri/yaoi, etc). Recently i finished Serious Weakness and realized i can't name a single quality het horror/romance book. All i can think is shitty dark romance booktok slop that don't actually commit to the inherent horror of abusive relationships and don't have a single interesting thing to say, or romance books that are unintentionally terrifying (think Colleen Hoover). Would especially enjoy anything that is violent/nasty/bloody/nonconsensual.
(Btw the horror MUST come from the romance, a horrifying relationship, if that wasn't clear)
So, any recommendations?
