I don’t just mean popular, I mean the kind of series that grows with its readers and becomes a whole shared experience over years. Midnight releases, theories everywhere, people feeling like they’re part of something bigger than just a story.
Have you come across anything that even comes close to that feeling, or do you think that kind of moment was a one time thing?

I think it’s less likely, monoculture is less of a thing in general now due to the internet. But who knows
