I’ve been reading Villains Are Destined to Die, where the protagonist is mistreated by those around her. Once she starts standing up for herself, the men who hurt her begin to regret their actions, but she no longer lets them back into her life. That mix of regret and pining is exactly what I’m looking for. I’d like recommendations for books, webtoons, or comics with a similar theme.
