So I read "The Yellow Wallpaper", "The Ballad of the Flexible Bullet" and other books, in which the main plot was about mental health and madness. I loved the books and have been looking for others like them for a while. Are there any suggestions for books/short stories which could be as interesting?

You might like The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath or My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh, both explore that internal, slightly unsettling mental space really well. They have that same kind of quiet intensity as The Yellow Wallpaper.
CAMP CONCENTRATION by Thomas Disch — the narrator is slowly going insane.
One, No One, and One Hundred Thousand by Luigi Pirandello. The Comforts of Madness by Paul Sayer.
