My mother is dying and no longer able to communicate. I am looking for recommendations for a collection of short stories to read aloud. I've been reading poetry that she read to me as a child, but I'd like something a little longer.

maybe try reading some ray bradbury collections – his stories have that nostalgic feel and they’re not too heavy for the situation
