I’m reading “No More Tears” and would love some recommendations for similar types of books! I enjoy books about medicine or drugs or something tangential, love a good scandal or two, with some history thrown in there.
I have “Empire of Pain” on my to-read list, and really enjoyed “The Age of Anxiety: A History of Americas Turbulent Affair with Tranquilizers”.
I know this is a bit of a niche interest but I’d love a few suggestions to read after this!

No More Tears is wild! I had the same disbelief reading Five Days at Memorial: Life and Death in a Storm-Ravaged Hospital by Sheri Fink. As Wikipedia says, “Fink examines the legal and political consequences of the decision to euthanize patients and the ethical issues surrounding euthanasia and health care in disaster scenarios.”
