    Hi bookworm community,

I am headed on vacation next week and I would love to have an audiobook and an ebook for the plane and the beach! Would love a mystery that has a comedic narrator or a urban fantasy (supernatural crossover into our world or written in a way that feels more of Harry potter vs LOTR) or a thriller audiobook that's got great production.

I love anything written by Kelley Armstrong, Stacey Willingham, Karen slaughter, Ilona Andrews, Kim Harrisons hallows series (however it really took some effort to get past the quirky way they talk but once I got into them I found it endearing) the earlier iterations of the Scarpetta series (however I'm still reading any new one that comes out now, but the first 5 books were the best) I haven't been a huge fan of Frida McFadden, a couple of her books were good reads but I felt they were too much like serialized short stories that all felt so similar that they could have been a series but too different to be rated.

The last audiobook I loved was "Listen for the lie" "Sadie" also had good production and I love the immersiveness of this but any good story that doesn't sound like it's being read by AI that meets the parameters is fair game.

    Sorry for the rambling!!!

Thank you soooooo much to any who read through my word vomit and drop a suggestion 🙏
