Post Apocalyptic with Multiple Main Characters?

Hi all. I'm an aspiring author looking to read more (and study the plot of) in the genre I am writing in, and am looking for Post Apocalyptic book with multiple main characters? Bonus points if it is a series, has horror or sci fi elements, and a protagonist dies.

So far, I have grabbed the Rampart Trilogy by M.R. Carey and the Broken Earth Trilogy by N.K. Jemisin. Any other good recommendations? Looking to add one to two more things to my plate.
