Hello! I just recently graduated college and finally have time to explore books that I actually like to read. I've read a ton of psychological thrillers so I'm burned out on those. I've tried to read romance but idk if they're just not for me or am I just picking up the wrong kind of romances. One that I have finished is Just For The Summer by Abby Jimenez– I liked that there wasn't really smut in the book, and that it explored other things such as mental health. I am currently in my slice of life phase–mostly japanese and korean literature.
I want to explore many other genres but do not know where to start. I want to try fantasy and sci-fi. The closest thing I read to fantasy are books that have an element of magical realism in them (The Rainfall Market by You Yeong-Gwang and The Vanishing Cherry Blossom Bookshop by Takuya Asakura). What are some beginner/easily read fantasy/magical realism/sci-fi books :]
