I want a story where the MMC is genuinely inexperienced like he’s never had his first kiss or anything beyond that, and the FMC is the more experienced one. I love the idea of her kind of guiding him, teaching him things, and him being a little shy or unsure at first.
Not looking for anything super toxic or overly alpha male vibes. More like soft, awkward, sweet MMC + confident, patient FMC energy.
Bonus points if there’s good emotional build up and character development, not just physical stuff.
Any genre is fine romance, fantasy, contemporary, even dark romance (as long as the dynamic fits).

been meaning to read more books with this dynamic myself tbh. the shy guy trope hits way better than the usual dominant alpha stuff imo
you might wanna check out Beach Read by Emily Henry – the MMC isnt exactly a virgin but hes definitely the more emotionally vulnerable one while she’s got her walls up. really good emotional development between them
also heard good things about The Spanish Love Deception but havent gotten around to it yet. apparently the guy is all awkward and sweet while shes more confident
wish i had more recs but most romance seems to go the other direction with the inexperienced girl thing which gets old pretty quick
