I haven’t read fiction in a MINUTE (I’ve been all parenting / self-help books for the last year or so) but I’m looking for a good read. Bonus points if it’s on kindle unlimited since I already have a membership and my kindle is my primary reader nowadays.
I love psychological thrillers and especially like books with unreliable narrators, unique writing styles, non-chronological timelines, etc. Open to other genres, too, as sometimes I enjoy romance.
Books I’ve read recently and enjoyed:
– I’m thinking of ending things (LOVED this)
– House of Leaves
– Girl on the train
– Seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo

It’s not quite psychological thriller, but if you want some really unique genre writing check out Jeff Noon’s older works (Vurt, Pollen, Nymphomation, etc.) I’d say they’re kinda like…British psychedelic cyberpunk. ‘Slipstream fiction’ is probably the closest genre I could label it as.
Author Gillian Flynn
