I loved the Cruel Prince series, and hated Sarah J Moss’s books, if that gives you an idea of what I like. I like romance, but prefer it as a side plot, because authors usually forgo the plot when it’s romance centered. World building isn’t that important if the plot and characters are good (like the cruel prince books.) Also don’t like dark brooding mmc’s like the bat guy from sjm’s books
