So I absolutely hate spoilers, it just makes me less motivated to watch it and ruins the shock value of certain scenes.
So when I was younger I had gotten an abridged copy of the book. ik the actual book has like a thousand pages but this had like 40 pages or something. It was basically an abridged abridged book like for young school kids .
I read it in school and really liked the story. But I got basically the whole main plot spoiled.
Now I'm an adult and I've heard great things about the book and want to read it but I feel hesitant to considering I've got basically the whole main plot spoiled.
Is it still worth reading the book?

YES!!! It has so much more, there are side stories, and side plots that probably were not even touched in that thing, there is character development, atmosphere and setting that you can’t possibly condense into a 40 page long glorified pamphlet! You might know the “main plot”, but you don’t know the journey, take that journey and enjoy it! 🙂
