Heyya! Super sorry if this isn't the right place for this.

I've started a new job with our national literacy agency where I read aloud to kids on video call for 30 minute sessions.

I already have quite a few in mind, however I will be reading to 4 sets of kids 3 times a week, so I need a lot of books.

For some reason, our agency is quite insistent that books are not to be continued between sessions, so I'm unable to read a lot of chapter books which helped me fall in love with reading at their age (well, I'm still going to go through the first chapter of The Last Unicorn with my older kids, it would be unkind not to).

To keep myself sane, I'm opting to do 2 books a day, where my year 2s and year 3s will be reading the same thing, and my year 4s and 5s as well.

To give an idea of what that looks like age wise:
    Yr 2 & 3 = 6-8
    Yr 4 & 5 = 8-10

So! Does anyone have any ideas for where I could find — preferably visually eye catching — age appropriate short stories? We're granted access to OxfordOwl but frankly a lot of the books there the kids will have either read already, or come across patronisingly boring.
