I'm trying to get my almost 3 year old to listen to a book. I'm looking for novels like James and the Giant Peach, The BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda. Kinda kooky books like that.
Edit: I have picture books and we watch age appropriate reading shows, she just shows little interest in reading and I want something to read as background noise while she plays to get her used to the sound of it the novels are more for me. But I'm not the parent I'm trying to do something with her that she will hopefully grow to love.
