Hello! Looking for some things to read on a group camping trip. About a week of time so it doesn’t have to be short. Ideally something gripping and immersive, but easy-to-read and come back to throughout a day. Similar in style to The Martian by Andy Weir: Fast-paced, funny, science-y, but easy to grasp.
Any suggestions? So much sci fi and fantasy are series and I’d really like standalone if possible. I have a long TBR, but most are books I want to really focus on and have complicated world-building, etc. which don’t make them ideal for vacation.
