Hey everyone,
I’m trying to seriously improve my sales skills and I’m deciding between Gap Selling and The Challenger Sale.
From what I understand, Gap Selling focuses more on identifying the customer’s current state vs future state and deeply understanding their problems, while Challenger Sale is more about teaching customers new perspectives and challenging their thinking.
I’m curious how these actually perform in real-life selling situations. Do you find one more practical than the other? Or is it better to combine both approaches?
Also, I’d really appreciate any recommendations for other sales books that are highly practical and not just theory.
Thanks!
