Does anyone know of any books (would probably be children’s books) set in a fictional world with both sentient humans and sentient animals but it’s not a magical world? So not like Narnia where you have the beavers and other talking animals and humans but there’s also magic and witches and Father Christmas. Basically more like if Zootopia’s world also had humans – it’s a world much like ours except there are also sentient animals that live alongside us.
Does something like this exist?
