I come from a family of nurses and sometimes I want to learn more, particularly about diagnostics and emergency medicine. Can anybody recommend me some good books I can use to read up on different things? Don't know if I'd ever consider going into the medical career given the state of the UK, but I really enjoy reading up on stuff. Unlike my parents I'd probably be more interested in being a paramedic or a medical doctor, maybe radiology or dermatology, but I don't know if I'd be able to cope with it, realistically. I have autism so I like categorising certain information I'm interested in and researching the heck out of it.

I'm not sure, if anybody has anything that they found really helpful when they were studying or something, anything like that to read up on. I'd love some recommendations, particularly from doctors. I just like memorising all of the different conditions and their symptoms and how to spot them and things like that. Where on earth do I start, though? Any suggestions appreciated!
