Hello! I’m looking for some books with good lesbian/WLW representation for my sister for a birthday present. She is a young adult, and doesn’t read a ton, but I really want to help her find some books she would like.
She likes sci fi, light horror (not too gory, she likes Shirley Jackson and Kathleen Jennings for reference), and *maybe* fantasy. She definitely would NOT like anything “cozy” or excessively cutesy. She loves plants and botany, so something related to that would be a plus. YA or adult is fine.
Most importantly there needs to be NO SA, and preferably no abusive relationships at all. Strongly prefer female authors.
This is outside my area of expertise, and absolutely everything I have found has an SA content warning! Please help!! Thank you!
