Hey everyone, I need some help choosing a birthday gift.
I’m talking to this guy who’s technically an engineer, but honestly his personality is completely different from that. He’s really into literature, music, and art. He even wanted to pursue English Honours at one point, but chose engineering because of career opportunities.
He has this very indie, emotional, slightly chaotic vibe kind of like Rockstar energy. He’s also Bengali, if that helps.
Another important detail: he LOVES animals, especially cats.
Like proper cat person.
He once mentioned someone he admires a lot—someone who achieved a lot at a really young age (around 27) and had a very intense life. He wants to be like him someday (I don’t remember the name though 😭).
I’ve seen his Amazon wishlist before but I completely forgot what was in it, so now I want to surprise and impress him with something meaningful.
What I’m looking for:
Books that are emotional / philosophical / thought-provoking
Something related to music, art, or life purpose
Bonus if it connects with animals/cats in some way
Open to English mostly, but Bengali suggestions are also welcome
I don’t want something too basic—I want a book that actually feels like him.
