For me, it has to be A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket (Daniel Handler). I was gifted the 13 book series when I was 12 for Christmas, and I spent the remainder of my Christmas holidays with my head in these books. Ever since, its become a tradition to pick up a random book from the series and spend a few dark winter nights reliving my childhood Christmas and it never fails to get me into the festive spirit!
