I went through a phase where I read a lot about history, economics, and politics years ago and it really broadened my mind and helped me understand how the world works, and I would like to pick that back up.
I'm talking about things like Howard Zinn, Chomsky, the 48 Laws of power. I've read Marx, Piketty, The Shock Doctrine, books on imperialism and neoliberal capitalism and stuff like that but I'm not really looking for anything with a specific political view, just more books that will expand my thinking and understanding of how the world works in general. Any recommendations?
