Any book from the perspective of a powerful man

A man who made de his wealth on suffering of others, who disregars human life. How does he see the world from his point of view. Is he against the world or does he see everything as a resource.

I read the "Less than zero" rn, it was a boring book. As it should, i think. Shows me how life is monotone for the second generations, who give their life no meaning/no goal.

Now i want a different point of view of someone who crawled from the bottom to the top, how does he see the same people he was a part of.
