I absolutely LOVE history and historical fiction. Unfortunately, as an American, my two favorite genres of books are currently not enjoyable to me as I live through events that mimic some of the darkest human actions in history.
So I've spread my reading wings for stress management and sanity and I'm loving it.
A few of the titles outside of my typical habits that I have thoroughly enjoyed this year include Project Hail Mary, Rebecca, Murderbot, Harry Potter, Animal Farm, and Less (I'm a married straight dude – I'm not the target demo for Less – but totally enjoyed it.)
I love all of these books.
And not a single one would I have picked up during my typical reading habits.
