I have been reeling from hangover of ‘We Used to live here by Marcus Kliewer’ since last one week and would like to read more such enthralling page turners. It was quite really amazing to know that it all started as short stories on reddit itself.
Some of the books that have given me similar experience of sitting at the edge of the seat in the past :
*Psychological thrillers*
-
House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski (left me unsettled for days)
-
PUSH by Ashley Audrain
-
We Used to Live Here as mentioned above
*Sci-Fi*
-
Remebrance of Earth’s Past Trilogy starting with ‘Three Body Problem’ by Liu Cixin
-
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
-
Project Hail Mary was not really a mind-boggling story but definitely a page-turner (Amaze! Amaze! Amaze!)
-
Books similar to the sci-fi movie ‘Predestination’ and the show ‘Dark’
*Crime Thrillers*
-
Millenium Trilogy, starting with ‘Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ (inhaled those books within days)
-
’Pretty Girls’ and ‘The Good Daughter’ by Karin Slaughter (disturbing but quite a page turner)
Thanks in advance!
