I am a secondary scholar. I feel that I am falling behind several of my peers and I have an innate desire to succeed; become successful. I have often heard that reading is the pathway to doing so, however even with my passion for it, I had lacked the time to do so. Thankfully, my situation has changed and I now have a unique opportunity to pursue my interests. I have no issue with suggestions from any genre; I simply want to develop my personality and knowledge base. Anything from contemporary to classic literature and scientific to philosophical is suitable; again I have no issue with any text. I would like to ask for recommendations that leave the audience with a unique perspective, thought, inspiration, motivation, and so on. Suggestions do not have to have a 'real world' impact as well; literature that is merely engaging and thought provoking/entertaining is also welcome.
