I'm looking for ya fantasy book recommendations I'm always picky with my books and I never thought of seeking for any recommendations but I'm really burned out rn and I think that a book might help I dont wanna go into another book slump, I'm 16 yrs old, I want a book that's strictly has no spice and romance as subplot, I wanna read a book with like an adventure and mystery and most importantly magic and whimsy, I wanna read a book with a fmc, but I don't want the warrior trope or wanting to defeat anyone or anything , I also enjoy a captivating fmc or ethereal, and I really wanna read about platonic bonds instead of romantic one's
Also one of my favorite reads were : daughter of the pirate king duology,the iron king,faelorehn,Fable duology and the hazel wood, but my two favs were fable and the hazel wood, what i liked most about them both and what I'm looking also for in other books is that the fmc's felt like they were more original and I liked reading about fable overcoming her daddy issues and seeing her realtionsphip with her father evolve through the two books and reading about her emotional deprivation due to how she grew up🥹💔, and I liked reading about Alice in the hazel wood about her anger issues,she was a really complex character wich for me felt really refreshing cause I felt like there was thought put into writing about the characters personality,behaviour,goals and I really mourn for originality
