One of my favorite tropes is the fish out of water, people who are pretty socially oblivious, tall or awkward or both, and things that instill you with hope even if the plot itself is regardless quite dark. Are there things like that, that you know? The genre can be anything really, murder mystery like a Benoit Blanc, more literary fiction, etc.
For example: the character of Ser Duncan the Tall or Brienne of Tarth in A Song of Ice and Fire.
