Funny whodunnit recs with competent heroine in trouble with law..

I'm looking for:

Cozy, Funny Whodunnit Mysteries with a COMPETENT Female Lead in trouble with the law.

(Like she might be involved in an investigation she isn't guilty for. And the book might be about proving her innocence.)

Preferably, Contemporary Setting and First Person Pov.

1. I just finished Finlay Donovan and loved it.

1. Listen for the Lie is probably my favourite cozy mystery of all time.

2. First Lie Wins was good as well, I really liked the strong fmc staying 2 steps ahead.

3. Mindfuck Series by S.T. Abby is almost perfection. I mean, fmc was technically the killer but it was still a whodunnit mystery. And the author has a brilliant sense of humor.

These are my favs cuz they had a competent heroines, smart enough to get out of troubles. And I loved the humor in all.

I didn't like Darling Girls, Home Is Where the Bodies Are, Eat Pray Slay, How to Solve Your Own Murder etc, cuz I didn't think they were funny nor was any character competent imo.

A Serial Killer's to Marriage was funny but urghhh I hated how impulsive and naive fmc was despite being a seasoned killer. Her husband had to constantly clean her mess.
