The protagonist is trying so hard to be better, but he succeeds maybe 20% of the time. Hilarity ensues I’ve also heard that {{the 100 year old man who climbed out the window amd dissapeared}} has such a protagonist, but I havent yet read it. not gonna lie, what you described is actually one of my favourite thing in books haha
